Cherry blossoms report 2015 / Part2

As it's been nice weather since last weekend, now is the best time to view cherry blossoms.
Here are some pictures of Chidorigafuchi next to the Imperial Palace on last saturday.
It's about 20min. on foot from our hotel.
 
  
You can enjoy boating during the Cherry Tree Festival!
It's open from 9:30 to 20:00.
The fee is 800yen per 30min.

You also be able to enjoy the beautifully illuminated cherry trees after sunset until 22:00
during the festival.
Onec a year! Don't miss it!
The most of the cherry tree are Someiyoshino.
But you can enjoy other kinds of cherry trees here.
  


After Chidorigafuchi walk, take a walk Kitanomaru Park.
You will be able to enjoy peaceful spring scenery.

Cherry blossoms report 2015

It is reported that the cherry blossoms has started to bloom in Tokyo yesterday!
There is the benchmark cherry tree in Yasukuni Shrine.
Every year of this season many Japanese focus on that tree when it will begin to bloom.
After 5 or 6 cherry blossoms of that tree had bloomed, the Meteorological Agency announce the cherry blossom declaration in Tokyo.

We Japanese are get excited about the cherry blossoms in this season every year.
Once cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they usually only last for about a week.
That's why we are so fashinated with it's short life.
 
Cherry trees in Tokyo will be in full bloom on this weekend.
